Budding young artists can have their work exhibited and raise money for charity through a new scheme supporting youth projects. The Bermondsey-based marketing company Periscopix set up SE1ART to raise money for charities. Bede House in Southwark Park Road and Downside Fisher Youth Club in Druid Street, both in Bermondsey, will benefit from the scheme. The park’s three new feathered friends are one female and two male pheasants, which have been seen in the wildlife area of Northbrook Park in Baring Road, Lee.
