Roguemont Castle and Exeter Cathedral are two of the most famous landmarks in the city. Exeter or St Peter’s Cathedral still maintains two Norman towers that were part of the building when it was first consecrated in 1133.

Chris Martin from Coldplay was born in Exeter in 1977. The lead singer from one of the world’s biggest bands attended Exeter Cathedral School.
