Where you can throw open French windows onto your own private verandah to see black swans skim over a peaceful lake or enjoy a cosy night in warmed by a cast iron stove in your beautifully furnished lodge.

Nestled in 30 wooded acres of secluded nature reserve, these lodges are a perfect hideaway with a whole range of activities easily accessible within a short and often scenic drive.You could not wish for a better environment for your home from home surrounded by wildflowers, birds and native wildlife such as otters, foxes and hedgehogs. The neighbours are friendly too – black swans often visit the lodges for a crust of bread and the local horses enjoy a carrot or two!

Walking paths have been cut into the site to enable you to get into the heart of this wildlife haven with benches perfectly placed for sketching, photography or a restful place to watch the many species of woodland and field birds. For dedicated bird watchers, there is a hide by one of the lakes and each lodge has a plant and wildlife identification book to help your observations.

The coarse fishing is around the lakes which cover approximately 50% of the site with private fishing platforms situated at each lodge for the most convenient of fishing experiences where you can fish for Rudd, Roach, Tench, Carp, Bream and Ide.
