John’s girlfriend Tracy Horsfall was designing a new website for his business ‘DIY Specialist Skipton’ and investigating how to optimise its presence on the Internet, when she typed in a search for ‘Skipton plumber’ on the Internet.
Tracy said: “I put in ‘Skipton plumber’ on the search engine and the city-visitor website came up in the number one spot – I knew then that we had to sign up as it was the only place for us to be. We did, and within just three weeks we had received a number of enquiries through city-visitor and John had won a contract to fit a new bathroom – more than covering the annual city-visitor cost on its own.”
She added: “We are delighted with our enhanced listing on city-visitor and the team there have been very helpful with suggestions and good follow-up service. The listing has certainly proved excellent value for money for us.”
